Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while since my last entry so I guess I will fill you in…. I’ve been doing some traveling. Oh, that’s not news to ya since I always travel. But this time I am on vacation! I went to Doha, Qatar for my first stop. There was a lot of construction going on all over the city which made traffic a nightmare, and took bit away from the city’s beauty. But at night, when all the building were lighted and illuminated the sea, it was a spectacular view. My time there flew by. I actually did a lot of nothing. I was amazed at how many American restaurants and fast food chains that are there, Hardy’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Apple Bee’s and the list just continues. I made my round to the hotels like the Sheraton, did a little dancing (salsa, and I was horrible) but I got better as the night went on. I think, at any rate I had fun.

Then I went back home for a few days. My friend Aretha flew in all the way from NEW YORK the same day I got in. We had a blast catching up, running around shopping. I’ve got to make my way back to New York, maybe next summer.

Next stop Cancun! I am still here for a few more days. The weather forecast predicted cloudy skies, and showers during my entire stay. Yesterday was a wonderfully sunny day with a nice little breeze. Thank goodness because it was my friend’s wedding day! It was so beautiful… She rode up to the gazebo on a horse and carriage. I’ve gotten to meet a lot of her friends who are really good people. I look forward to future encounters with them. Today, I just sleep in. It rained off and on most of the day. Later I participated in a salsa class. The time went by quickly. The expression time flies when you’re having fun it true. Look out dancing with the stars 🙂
