THIS WAS WRITTEN AFTER OUR SECOND WIN AGAINST KOREA BUT I HAD PROBLEMS SIGNING ONLINE…
So far we are getting it done, AMEN! With two wins, 3-0 verses Thailand and 3-1 verses Korea, we have Russia next on our hit list. Then it will depend on what the other pools results are. I read that we need, of course win tomorrow, but also we’ll need Italy, Cuba or Japan to lose 2 of their three matches this leg. So there you have it. Well, I gotten to play more than expected as I knew going into this tournament my coach wanted to give Jen Joines lots of playing time for her further development internationally. Jen by the way will be going to Chieri next season. So all you Chieri fans give her a warm welcome and take care of her. And the coach wanted to give Heather Bown more time with Berg (our setter) since Heather didn’t play with USA last summer so that she could finish up her undergraduate degree. That’s awesome she finished. When I joined the National team back in 1994 I finished my last semester at San Diego and transfered those units back to Long Beach State…. Anyhoo, I’ve been blessed to be able to prepare mentally and physically to come off the bench at times and other times start the match.

On another note, feel free to check out the my wedding tab. There you can read my husband’s and my story about how that big day July 15 came about and view the links that has photos of the two of us.

GO USA

Congratulations on your wedding! It’s hard keeping up tabs with international volleyball around here. I don’t get to see the games being shown on beelinetv anymore. I’m really glad you’re still doing the blog and keeping your fans like me up to date. Keep up the good work!
