Greetings,

My name is Danielle Scott. I am USA’s only 5x Olympian and a Beijing and London Olympic Silver Medalist in Indoor Volleyball. I am also an inspirational speaker and mindset mentor committed to helping youth and adults feel confident and empowered to pursue their Olympic sized dreams. I am writing this letter in hopes that you may be interested in donating funds to the Believer In You Foundation. Believer In You Foundation Inc is a foundation founded to give scholarships to students in areas of education, arts and sports. It also has a broader purpose to help those who may no longer be students but have a desire to pursue certification, or trade, to partner with other organizations that align with Believer In You Foundation to provide resources and services and finally help those who have fallen on difficult times while encouraging community service.

I have great aspirations for this foundation to help people get one step closer to reaching their dreams and give hope to those who may feel discourage .

I have made an initial contribution. Won’t you join me and be a part of helping the Believer In You Foundation give hope, encourage, resources and community to those who are making an effort to make their dreams become a reality.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC

MOTTO

Believer In You Foundation Inc motto is helping you realize your potential and dreams as You believe in You, Believer In You believes in You, I believe in You and Jesus believes in you.

PURPOSE

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC (BIYF) purpose is to encourage and support youth, young adults, and persons of all ages to realize their dreams through education, arts, and sports. We believe with one’s passion, perseverance, determination, commitment, faith and a good support system one’s dream can become reality.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC vision also is to give hope to those who have fallen on hard times and promote community service.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC will provide scholarships to students from age 12-19 in areas of education and arts. These scholarships will be given on the bases of need and/or merit. Scholarship applicants will be required to submit an essay to the board describing what his/her goals and how receiving a scholarship from BELIEVER IN YOU INC will help him/her achieve that goal. A letter of recommendation will also be required of the applicant. This letter should not be from a relative. Scholarships will be available to students with a minimum 2. 5 GPA and/or whose family income is lower than $30,000 (thirty thousand dollars). BELIEVER IN YOU INC scholarships in the amount of $500 (five hundred dollars) will be available to students nationwide. The number of scholarships given will depend on how much fund raising and donations BELIEVER IN YOU INC receives. Once an applicant is selected and notified, funds will be given once the applicant has been accepted into school (University, JC, Trade etc. . . ). Letter of acceptance must be provided.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC will also provide grants to those who are attending University, JC, or Trade schools. Proof of enrollment is required, as well as 2. 5 GPA.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC will provide grants for Athletics. These funds will be used for purchase of equipment, travel, payment of individual sessions, camps, clinics etc. Grant applicants must provide a letter stating his/her sport, length of participation, how sports have made a difference in his/her life, goals, and how receiving a grant from BELIEVER IN YOU INC will help attain his/her goal. Grant applicants must show proof of involvement in a sports organization, example Cajunland Volleyball Club, or AVP Tour.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUDATION INC will provide funds for those of who have fallen on hard times. These funds will be used for payment or purchase of specific need requested. In some cases BELIEVER IN YOU INC volunteers will perform the service. One must provide a letter with specific details of one’s circumstance and needs. If selected the applicant will commit to volunteer his/her time to help someone else in need. If the applicant is limited physically then the board will wave that applicant’s volunteer time.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INC will also provide grants to help people realize dreams. One must provide a letter with a specific goal, desire, dream in mind, expressing one’s passion and commitment and how receiving a grant from BELIEVER IN YOU INC will help attain their goal. There is no age limit.

BELIEVER IN YOU FOUNDATION INCC will provide grants to not-for-profit organizations who need assistance providing a service/programs and groups desiring to reach a goal. Must provide verifiable proof of existence; organization name, address, phone number, contact name and please attach a list of your board of directors and IRS letter confirming 501(c)(3) status. One should also Iinclude geographic area served, how long the operation has been in existence. If available, include your mission statement and strategic goals. Summarize programs or services provided as well as track record of success. Please describe the structure of service provided or program. Who will be served by the program? What are the benefits of the program/service? And finally how receiving a grant from BELIEVER IN YOU INC will help attain that goal.
